LIFE’SWORK

Empowering People to Live a Life of Purpose

Deliverables: Visual Identity, Print Design, Website Design

Life’sWork is a non-profit organization that creates partnerships between local companies and individuals with disabilities, allowing them to pursue their dreams through strengthening workplace abilities, building life skills, and developing meaningful relationships.

My team and I collaborated with the organization to reimagine their full brand identity from the ground up, including a new logo, brand messaging, full website redesign, and the development of a robust suite of print material.

Visual Identity

A complete overhaul of their previous visual identity was the project’s cornerstone. I worked with the client to reimagine their brand, creating a fresh, friendly, and versatile wordmark as their logo along with a bright new color palette and contemporary typography package.

Designing a Website that Works

A simple and intuitive web interface was essential for both Life’sWork staff and their site visitors alike. Ease of use and accessibility were key in supporting the organization’s goals and mission.

The newly established visual brand truly lent itself well to clean design, so I went with a sensible, no-frills approach for the website; creating a simplistic page architecture, clear text hierarchy, and easily identifiable sections to direct the flow of content.

This design went hand-in-hand the authentic photography and brand voice captured by the Imagebox team. It was then wonderfully coded by developers who took extra care to make the site’s backend easy for the client to use going forward.

In the end, the Life’sWork website was a fantastic feat of collaboration.
