Strengthening the Mission of First Responders

In its 140 years of existence, the Clarendon Fire Department has always led the way. They have always been among the first to adopt new technologies, emergency response strategies, and worked tirelessly to acquire the latest equipment. Innovation is essentially baked into the organization’s DNA. 

It’s no surprise that the Department would invest in modern solutions to overcome a modern crisis, one that’s affecting volunteer emergency services across the country today: a steady decline in membership paired with an increasing demand and cost of operation. Understanding the value of a strong brand and the intelligent use of social media to reach future members and potential donors, the Department engaged with me directly to take on this crisis.

 
 
 
 

Strike Team

The Strike Team is the Department’s “hotshots”—a small group of individuals specially trained to combat wildfires. This emblem was created to serve as a helmet and vehicle sticker.

 
 
 
 

Event Branding & Social Media Support

Successful fundraising events are crucial for any volunteer community organization. The Clarendon Fire Department chose an avenue to success that paired social media with great design to market their events. This strategy allowed the organization to reach far more people than ever before at zero cost, directly leading to increases in revenue, event attendance, and community outreach.
