The Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation (PHLF) focuses on using historic preservation as a catalyst for urban renewal and community growth, rather than demolition and new construction. Its efforts have been responsible for saving countless historical landmarks from the wrecking ball.

Through the Place is a feature-length documentary that tells the story of PHLF from their inception in 1964 to becoming one of the most innovative and effective nonprofit historic preservation organizations in the United States. For this project, I worked with the PHLF team and its media partners to create the film’s branding, including DVD packaging, screening event posters, mailings, and a full website landing page.
